Captech eFORCE Relaunch Targets Faster Labour Deployment and Transparent Billing

Captech Technologies has relaunched its AI-assisted Captech eFORCE labour management app in India, targeting faster workforce deployment, stage-by-stage Kharchi and RA bill tracking, and direct ERP integration for construction companies.

Captech Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has relaunched its Captech eFORCE platform, an AI-assisted, Made in India labour management app designed specifically for labour contractors in India, expanding its role from a labour marketplace to a digital platform for managing construction work orders, workforce deployment, site progress reports and billing. The company says the platform enables labour deployment five times faster than traditional methods and increases deployment capacity eightfold.

The relaunched platform aims to address persistent inefficiencies in workforce mobilisation and payment tracking across India's construction sector. It also offers workers repeated job opportunities under the same construction company, supporting continuity of employment and longer-term engagement.

Captech eFORCE is designed to scale to lakhs of contractors. It includes dedicated training programmes to help onboard contractors who may not be comfortable using technology, with AI-assisted phone calls and WhatsApp messages supporting the process. The platform is intended to accelerate labour deployment, help projects progress faster, provide contractors with more consistent income opportunities and enable construction companies to secure a reliable manpower supply.

Captech eFORCE first went live in 2020 as a labour marketplace, and that functionality remains available. Developers and contractors can post labour requirements along with bills of quantities (BOQs), drawings, work scopes and timelines. Labour contractors can then apply by submitting their credentials. PAN, GST and bank details are checked on the platform before a work order is awarded.

Following the award, work orders, crew deployment and Digital Daily Progress Reports can be managed through the same platform. Senior management assigned to projects can access an overview of multiple sites, helping identify bottlenecks and any crew shortages.

Captech eFORCE currently works with more than 5,000 labour contractors, impacting close to 5,00,000 blue-collar workforces across more than 30 projects in India.

Speaking about the relaunch, Asutosh Katyal, Founder & CEO of Captech Technologies, said the status of bills and the timing of payments remain recurring concerns for labour contractors.

"Most contractors we work with have one recurring worry, and it is the bill. Has it been certified, and when will the money come? Until now the only way to find out was to keep calling the site office. After this relaunch the contractor and the project team look at the same record, and it ties into the ERP the company already uses. We started out as a place to find labor. Captech eFORCE is now the platform on which a construction job is run, from the work order to the final payment," Katyal said.

On many Indian construction sites, workforce updates and operational information continue to be exchanged over phone calls and WhatsApp messages, with details subsequently recorded in spreadsheets, if they are documented at all. For labour contractors managing crews across several projects, determining whether a bill has been certified can involve repeated calls to project personnel.

The relaunch directly addresses this challenge by introducing stage-by-stage tracking of Kharchi, the advance paid to workers for daily expenses, and running account (RA) bills. Contractors can track bills from the date of submission and check whether they are still being processed or have been cleared for payment. On the construction company's side, project teams can view all pending bills across their sites in a single list.

The platform also integrates directly with a company's existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, eliminating the need to replace the system or enter the same information twice. Work orders, progress reports and bills recorded on Captech eFORCE are automatically transferred to the company's ERP, reducing duplicate data entry by site personnel.

AI-assisted phone calls and WhatsApp messages serve additional purposes beyond contractor onboarding. They also deliver reminders and updates about ongoing work, helping contractors remain informed about their assignments. The platform currently operates in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Marathi and Bangla.

Captech Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a construction-technology company focused on connecting workforce coordination and project execution. Through its flagship platform, Captech eFORCE, the company connects construction companies, developers, labour contractors and specialised vendors by supporting contractor discovery, workforce deployment, work-order management, project tracking and payment-related workflows.

Designed around the operational requirements of India's construction sector, Captech eFORCE enables stakeholders to manage key processes through a single digital platform, improving coordination between project requirements and workforce availability. The platform also supports multilingual access and uses technology to improve visibility, productivity and efficiency across construction operations.

With its expanded capabilities, Captech eFORCE is positioning itself as a platform for managing construction workflows from contractor discovery and workforce mobilisation to progress reporting and final payment, while connecting site-level operations with companies' existing ERP systems.
